Well all those months of planning, hiking, and hiding of Geocaches and the day has come and gone. I couldn't be happier with the results. The weather was perfect, the people were perfect, and the trail was perfect. There were 26 participants on the hike and over 30 at the dinner. I had a blast and by the sounds of it so did everyone else.
There were a few moans and groans as we all pushed our way up and over the mountain climbs but it was all worth it in the end. We found a beautiful spot for lunch and the weather was just the way I like it. Cool in the trees with sunny spots along the way to warm you up. The mosquito's were all gone from the heatwave the week before so we were bug free :)
There has even been a few comments by attendees of what they hope will be another hike next year. Well if Jeff and I can find another trail like this one to place caches along then I'll try and make it happen. Here's to hoping for another lost trail found again.
